Но вот, например, вариант что у лошади есть текинец в родне. Возможна соловая масть? Или она не может пролезть через другую родню? или она уже будет игреневой?
Гипотетическая лошадь любой породы, имеющая солового текинца в родословной, может быть и соловой, и игреневой. В сомнительных случаях масть уточняется по ДНК.
Если лошадь оказывается соловой, делаем вывод, что она могла получить аллель Cr как от текинского предка, так и от кого-нибудь другого. Смотря что в родословной намешано. Соловая масть может быть и от белоруса, и от башкира, и от якута, и от орловца, и от уэльского пони. Причем этот другой предок мог быть и буланым, и пепельно-вороным, что визуально определить трудно, и, в чем самая засада, серым...
Проблема в том, что аллели в ДНК не подписаны. На них нет пометки, по какой линии они получены. Другой вопрос, что нам надо прийти к какому-то выводу... Итак, если есть в родословной соловый или буланый текинец и нет точной информации о других предках-носителях аллеля Cr, конечно, мы делаем вывод, что соловой мастью наша гипотетическая лошадь обязана текинцу. (Это может быть и не так, см. указанные выше случаи, но мы этого нкогда наверняка не узнаем.)
 
А как делают тест ДНК? где? сколько стоит? что для этого нужно?

Либо у нас в России (сейчас лучше через меня, но лаборатория в процессе переезда, не знаю, когда снова будет на ходу), либо в Калифорнийском университете (тоже через меня). Если вилка "соловый - игреневый", нужен анализ на Cr, это либо 500 рублей в России, либо 25 долларов в США. Анализ по луковицам волос.

Откуда из драть? Во что паковать? Есть у них срок годности?
